The collection consists chiefly of original drawings of the political cartoons of Gorrell, together with related corresondence, prelliminary copies (copies of orginials with additional original sketches), publisher's (final) copies, and royalty statements. The collection also contains his cartoon series "Cobwebs" about a vampire's assistant, and "Muddle America," both co-authored with Gary Brookins, as well as "Toby" told from a cat's point of view. There are also two original drawings by cartoonists Steve Greenberg and Jimmy Marguiles.
